During this difficult time when our church buildings are closed, we are still a church; meeting virtually for prayer services and fellowship, loving our neighbours by offering practical support to the vulnerable, and caring for our communities. The work of our church is reliant on people’s generosity, a generosity that is a hallmark of a lived-out faith and a testament to it.
We give to our church in a variety of ways, but with the closure of all our buildings at the moment we cannot receive all the gifts that we usually would, so we really need your help now. If you are able to give something to help the work we do, please use the form below.
The Parish of Great Aycliffe is a great asset to our community and we will have to become more creative with fundraising and giving in the months and years to come, as costs continue to rise.
We are very grateful to all those who give generously to The Parish of Great Aycliffe and encourage everyone to review their giving regularly. You can help also by making a donation if you are having your child baptised in one of our churches. This ensures that we can continue to serve our community well into the future because this is your parish. Please help us to help our community.
If you would like to make a regular gift or set up a monthly gift, there are currently two options:
1. Click here to download the Gift Aid and Standing Order form and return the completed form to:
Parish of Great Aycliffe, St Clare’s Church, St Cuthbert’s Way, Newton Aycliffe DL5 5NT
2. Give by text (either a one-off or recurring payment):
Texts are processed via Donr (www.donr.com). Your text will cost your gift amount plus a standard rate text message (or two standard rates texts to setup monthly giving).
