Messy Kite making
At St. Clare’s we have been excited and enthused by the significant growth in Messy Church since it began in 2010. Messy engages with families in a way like no other. Adults and children learning together, growing and journeying together! Sharing in the love of Jesus in a church which meets them where they are in their spiritual journeys.
At present we run Messy monthly. The sessions begin at 4pm with registration from 3.30pm and a shared worship, bible story, song, prayer in an informal and relaxed, celebratory way.
This then leads into craft and discovery stations and finally a shared tea, with the session finishing around 6pm.
The Messy Team at St. Clare’s meet regularly to plan, pray and reflect on their mission and ministry. We believe God has called us to help share his love and his words to those around us.
Everyone is welcome to ‘taste’ Messy Church and become part of the largest growth mission work happening in the church today!
